I chose to highlight this page of my sketchbook because I liked it the most of the second nine weeks pages. I think that it was a cute page and it also means something as well, which is why I like it. In order to create this page, I used pencil, Sharpie, colored pencils, glue, and silver glitter. My page is about how people use masks to hide behind when voicing their opinion rather than standing behind what they truly believe. I think this page stands out from the other pages from this nine weeks because I used different materials and put a lot of effort into it. This page communicates to others the same way it communicates to me with the meaning behind the idea of people wearing masks. I do see improvements and changes between this page and my first nine weeks pages because I used so many different materials rather than simply using water colors.
I chose to highlight this page of my sketchbook because I liked it the most. In order to create this sketchbook page, I used colored pencils, water colors, and sharpies. My page is about Winnie the Pooh and my favorite quote by him. This one page stands out to me above all the other pages because I worked hard to draw Winnie the Pooh and the other details that I put into the drawing of the page. I had already previously used colored pencils and water colors on other pages of my sketchbook, so this page did not use any new materials or techniques. This page shows that I love Winnie the Pooh, it also shows that, with the quote, that I am a loving person and am still a child at heart. I think that people would say it reminds them of good childhood memories. I think they might see it as childlike and a happy page.
